River Hills third baseman Alex Vazquez had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Vazquez went 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2, even as Los Angeles beat the Rockets, 8-6. The Los Angeles winning streak has reached 3 games.

The Dodgers got a big hit from right fielder Manuel Pabon. In the bottom of the sixth, Pabon smacked a bases-clearing triple off River Hills pitcher Eric Laginess. It was his 3rd triple of the season. Suddenly, the Dodgers were ahead, 8-6.

"We ground out the win," said Pabon. "That's all that matters."
