Kuehl goes 4-for-5 to Fuel Reds Offense
Fans brought energy and enthusiasm to the River Hills Rockets home opener. Pedro Martinez started for the home team against Nate Lorenz for the Cincinnati Reds. The Rockets were unable to reward the home crowd with a win. The final score was 10-8, Cincinnati. Paul Kuehl, though, was impressive. Seb Lang, now 1-0, was credited with the win in 1 innings of relief. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit, while striking out 0 and walking 0.

Cincinnati used the clutch hitting of Bobby Ramirez to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a bases-clearing double in the top of the seventh inning to give the Reds the lead, 8-4. For the game, Ramirez had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.

"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Cincinnati manager Chris Galindo.
