Florida Complex League Picks Skipper of the Year Monday, September 14th , 2026 A baseball manager's success usually depends on the talent of his club, but in the case of Bill Davis, he seems to have taken the Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates Gold to a higher level and gotten his just due. He was named this season's Manager of the Year in the Florida Complex League for leading the team to a very rewarding season. "Everyone on the team put in a lot of hard work this season," he told reporters. "It's always nice when it's acknowledged in some way." Davis led Pittsburgh (FCL) to a first place finish in the Florida Complex League South. The Pirates Gold ended up with a 35-21 record. |
