Evans Goes 5-for-5 Against Pittsburgh (FCL) Thursday, July 9th , 2026 A big day at bat for Sam Evans of the Toronto (FCL) Blue Jays still ended with a loss. The Toronto (FCL) right fielder did all he could do, going 5-for-5, but it was not enough to overcome the Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates Black. They triumphed over Toronto (FCL), 6-3, at Rogers Centre. Sam Evans singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 9th.
