5-for-7 Day for Vu Tuesday, July 7th , 2026 All game long, Tampa Bay (FCL)'s Quoc-Tai Vu was rattling the walls at Tropicana Field and banging out base hits against the Boston (FCL) Red Sox. When the dust finally settled on the diamond, he had a 5-hit day and the Rays had a win, 23-3. Speaking with reporters after his standout performance, the 20-year-old right fielder said, "Get 5 hits, win a ballgame, it's nice. I could get used to this." Quoc-Tai Vu singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Alejandro Arroyo in the 5th, hit a two-run double in the 5th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 8th. Vu is batting at a .345 pace this season, picking up 39 hits in 113 at-bats with 11 home runs, 35 RBIs and 29 runs scored. |
