5-Hit Blitz by Beck Monday, July 6th , 2026 The 5th time is the charm -- at least for Danny Beck. The first baseman for the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles Black hit the milestone against the Atlanta (FCL) Braves, helping his club to a narrow 11-10 victory. Beck finished with a 5-for-6 line at the plate. "Beck was a tough out," Atlanta (FCL) manager Mark Spitzer told the press in the postgame interview. "If it weren't for him, I think we had this one." Danny Beck singled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 8th and struck out in the 10th. This year, Beck has hit at a .507 clip with 23 RBIs, 4 home runs and 16 runs scored. |
