Morimoto Collects Cycle Sunday, July 5th , 2026 Tsugiharu Morimoto roughed up Baltimore (FCL) Orioles Black pitching in a big way at Truist Park, leading the Atlanta (FCL) to a win, 17-8. With his parents and family watching from the stands, the 27-year-old second baseman put on a magnificent show, hitting for the cycle -- collecting a single, double, triple and home run in the same game. "It was a good day for that to happen," a beaming Morimoto said after the game. "I really got some good looks and delivered. Sometimes you're just on." He finished his historic day with 6 hits in 6 at-bats, 3 RBI and 4 runs scored. Tsugiharu Morimoto doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Logan Hampton in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
