Bishop Hit Streak Reaches 20 Games Saturday, July 4th , 2026 Chris Bishop of the Baltimore (FCL) Orioles Black extended his hitting streak to 20 straight games with 3 hits in today's 11-4 triumph over the Detroit E (FCL) Tigers East at Tigers East Field. "Chris has been making it easy for me to pencil his name in the lineup every day," Orioles Black manager Kevin Matthews joked after the game. Chris Bishop singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, flied out in the 4th, was hit by a pitch in the 6th and singled in the 8th. In the current season, Bishop has put up a .452 batting average with 42 hits, 3 home runs, 18 runs batted in and scored 19 runs. |
