Royals 1 Heading to Round 3 Tuesday, September 15th , 2026 Matt Haight said he didn't even realize how well he had been playing in the Round 2 until he was shown his own statistics. It all added up to his Royals 1 advancing to the Round 3, with a 4-1 series win over the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 1. "I didn't really pay attention to the numbers or my stats at all as we went along," he said. "I'm just so focused on trying to help the team win, that's it." The series victory had become official with a 13-3 triumph at Ballpark of Colorado (DSL). Even if Haight is not paying close attention to his stats, the rest of baseball certainly will be keeping an eye on him as the playoffs continue. "I like to be under pressure and think I respond well to it," he said. The Kansas City (DSL) Royals 1 will play against the New York N (DSL) Mets 2 in the next round. New York N (DSL) won their series against the Chicago N (DSL) Cubs 2 4 games to 1. The Round 3 schedule will be announced after the Round 2 finishes. |
