Barbee Goes 5-for-6 Friday, July 17th , 2026 Sam Barbee was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 15-1, over the Twins. The Pittsburgh (DSL) catcher was a tough out and went 5-for-6 against Minnesota (DSL) in a fine hitting display. "I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in." Sam Barbee hit an RBI single in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a two-run double in the 9th. |
