Moore Strokes 5 Hits Thursday, July 16th , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Mike Moore of the Toronto (DSL) Blue Jays at Guardians 2 Ballpark. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Moore finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Blue Jays to a win, 24-6. "Moore was really good and we were really bad," groaned Guardians 2 manager Matt Schroeder. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Mike Moore flied out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit a two-run double in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Currently Moore has no home runs and a .481 batting average. |
