Red-Hot Rampage Reaps DSL Reward Monday, July 13th , 2026 All week long Rob Merten was the toughest out in the Dominican Rookie League and that is the prime reason he was voted the Player of the Week. The Colorado (DSL) right fielder rapped out 14 hits in 30 at-bats for a .467 batting average, drove in 15 runs and scored 9 times. This season, Merten is swinging the bat at a .472 rate with 17 hits in 36 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 11 runs and driven in 17. |
