Brown Blisters Boston (DSL) Sunday, July 12th , 2026 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Chicago N (DSL)'s 14-7 win over Boston (DSL), left fielder Marcus Brown was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Red Sox 2 Park. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Brown said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Marcus Brown flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Alex Goyco in the 6th, singled in the 7th and doubled in the 8th. |
