Offner Ups Hit Streak to 20 Consecutive Games Sunday, July 12th , 2026 The number just keeps getting higher. Kansas City (DSL) center fielder Ian Offner has now extended his hitting string to 20 games. He did it today with 2 hits in 4 at-bats as the Kansas City (DSL) won the game, 4-1, over the Texas (DSL) Rangers 2 at Ballpark of Texas (DSL). "Who knows how long it will go on?" Texas (DSL) manager Keith Perez said. "He's certainly tough to pitch to right now." Ian Offner singled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Alvin Reese in the 8th. For the year, Offner is batting .457 with 11 home runs. |
