Carra Joins 3-HR Club Saturday, July 11th , 2026 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Andy Carra discovered that today at Cardinals Blue Grounds, as he smashed three home runs during the 13-8 St. Louis (DSL) Cardinals Blue win over the Colorado (DSL) Rockies 2. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the St. Louis (DSL) shortstop said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Carra finished the day with 4 hits in 5 at-bats and 7 RBIs. Andy Carra flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Jesus Arredondo in the 4th, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Marco Rosas in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Alfonso Escorcia in the 8th. Looking at his season stats, Carra has compiled a .400 batting average and a .455 on-base percentage, while hitting 5 home runs and driving in 11 runs. |
