Patti Cracks 3 HRs for New York A (DSL) Wednesday, July 8th , 2026 It was a good day for the New York A (DSL) Yankees 1 and an exceptional one for Bertrando Patti. The 20-year-old first baseman sent three bombs out of the park to help the Yankees 1 beat the Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 1, 12-6, at Rays 1 Field. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Patti said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 7 runs and smacked 3 hits in 6 at-bats. Bertrando Patti flied out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Andres Nunez in the 4th, struck out in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Mike Baltazar in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Mike Baltazar in the 9th. Currently Patti is batting .393 with 5 home runs and 11 RBIs. |
