Big Day for Miller: Swats 5 Hits Sunday, July 5th , 2026 Rick Miller exploded for a barrage of base hits at Guardians 2 Ballpark. The New York N (DSL) right fielder had a field day in his team's 8-1 triumph over the Cleveland (DSL) Guardians 2, finishing 5-for-7. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Miller must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Rick Miller doubled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th. Miller is currently hitting at a .387 pace with 2 home runs and 10 RBIs. He has played in 10 games and scored 6 times. |
