Hitting Streak Still Alive for Ziffer Thursday, July 2nd , 2026 Ezekiel Ziffer's hitting streak is becoming the talk of Detroit (DSL). The 20-year-old shortstop extended it once again, this time bringing it to 20 games with a 1-for-3 performance against the Washington (DSL) Nationals. The Tigers 2 won the game, 10-9. "People are starting to bring it up to me when I'm around town," he said. "It's getting stressful." Ezekiel Ziffer grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd and singled in the 5th. On the year, Ziffer has hit .388 with 5 home runs, 23 RBIs and scored 19 runs. |
