Formosinho Cracks 5 Hits Thursday, July 2nd , 2026 St. Louis (DSL) left fielder Narciso Formosinho could do no wrong in his team's 9-3 win over the Diamondbacks 1, as he collected 5 hits. "Things were in his favor in every one of his at-bats," Diamondbacks 1 skipper Ryan Brimm said to the press corps after the game. "He got hitters' counts." Formosinho agreed, saying that getting ahead early in the counts was "the key" to his game. "Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit," he said. "You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Narciso Formosinho singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Danny Rodriguez in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and doubled in the 8th.
