Unruh Bashes 3 HR for Boston (DSL) Sunday, June 28th , 2026 Some days you can't have it all, as Boston (DSL) Red Sox 2 right fielder Eric Unruh discovered when he cracked three homers against the Los Angeles (DSL) Dodgers Robinson, and still lost. "I have mixed emotions about this game," he said. "It's great to hit three homers, but it's hard to be happy when you lose the game." The 19-year-old got his name in the league record books, but the Dodgers Robinson walked away with the triumph, 23-15, at Red Sox 2 Park. Unruh finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 9 RBIs. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," he said in the postgame interview. Eric Unruh hit a two-run home run off Cameron Miser in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Cameron Miser in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Emmanuel Batres in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th and flied out in the 8th. Currently Unruh is batting .542 with 12 home runs and 36 RBIs. |
