Super Swinger -- Almaraz Slams 5 Hits Monday, June 22nd , 2026 It was a parade of hits for Daniel Almaraz of the Atlanta (DSL) Braves at Ballpark of Colorado (DSL). Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Almaraz finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Braves to a win, 14-3. "Almaraz was really good and we were really bad," groaned Rockies 1 manager Dennis Rhine. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Daniel Almaraz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jay Repass in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 7th. |
