Zorro Blasts 3 out of the Park Sunday, June 21st , 2026 The Tampa Bay (DSL) Rays 1 knocked off the Texas (DSL) Rangers 1, 11-9, in spite of a fantastic performance by Rangers 1 shortstop Vinny Zorro, who drilled three home runs but couldn't bring home the victory. "It's like going to the prom with the prettiest girl in school, having a great time, but then not getting a good night kiss," Zorro said later. Zorro finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats, 6 RBI and 3 runs scored. Vinny Zorro hit a solo-shot off Alex Rivas in the 2nd, flied out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Alex Garcia in the 5th, struck out in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Eddy Rodriguez in the 10th. Zorro is hitting .457 in 2026 with 14 RBIs and 6 home runs. |
