The Detroit (DSL) first baseman went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Tigers 2 a win, 22-5. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Macias said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Javier Macias singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Kyle Michel in the 3rd, walked in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, doubled in the 7th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th. |
