CAL Manager of the Year Award Goes to Hiers Tuesday, September 29th , 2026 An outstanding season by the Ports garnered their manager Bob Hiers the California League Manager of the Year award for 2026. He led Stockton to a 102-38 record this year and a first place finish in the Northern Division. Even so, Hiers seemed less than thrilled. "I don't give a darn about the award," he growled to reporters, "I just want this team to win championships!" |
