CAL Manager of the Year Award Goes to Hiers

An outstanding season by the Ports garnered their manager Bob Hiers the California League Manager of the Year award for 2026. He led Stockton to a 102-38 record this year and a first place finish in the Northern Division.
Even so, Hiers seemed less than thrilled. "I don't give a darn about the award," he growled to reporters, "I just want this team to win championships!"
