CAL Player of the Week Awarded Monday, July 13th , 2026 The hottest bat of the week belonged to Inland Empire right fielder Victor Lopez. He went on a rampage last week against CAL hurlers and rapped out 10 hits in 21 at-bats for a .476 average while hitting 2 home runs, driving in 4 runs and scoring 3 runs -- numbers quite worthy of the California League Player of the Week trophy. Lopez was honored today at a press conference. Hitting .333 to date, Lopez has 6 home runs and 16 RBIs. He has played in 32 games. |
