June's Premier Batter Announced Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Jose Gonzales made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the California League this past month. The Stockton Ports center fielder shined through the month of June and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 23-year-old hit .390 with 5 home runs, 16 RBIs and 15 runs scored. For the season, Gonzales has produced 67 hits in 202 at-bats for a .332 average with 9 home runs and gotten on base at a .387 clip. |
