Brooks Blanks Lake Elsinore, 15-0 Saturday, June 27th , 2026 The Lake Elsinore Storm met their match today in Stockton hurler Fred Brooks. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 2-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," Lake Elsinore skipper Brent Gerhardt said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 15-0 victory, Brooks whiffed 7 and gave up 1 walk. His record this year is 7-4 in 16 starts and Brooks has a 3.46 ERA. |
