Season-Ending Injury for Theys

Team officials for the West Michigan Whitecaps confirmed that a damaged elbow ligament will force Bill Theys to miss the rest of the season. Theys sustained the injury on 07/18/2026. It remains to be seen who will replace Theys on the active roster.

Dockery Collects Cycle

Dragons catcher Adam Dockery made big news in Dayton's 6-4 victory over the Lansing Lugnuts. He was 4-for-5 at the plate and hit for the cycle, collecting 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run.
"My numbers were gaudy but lots of guys deserve a share of the credit today," Dockery said later.
Adam Dockery hit an RBI double in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Devin Phipps in the 4th, singled in the 6th and tripled in the 8th.
Posting a .331 batting average to date, Dockery has 6 home runs and 41 RBIs.
