Rocket City Befuddled by McCombe in 2-0 Loss Thursday, July 9th , 2026 Kyle McCombe bent a little, but he didn't break against the Rocket City Trash Pandas. The Chattanooga Lookouts pitcher hurled a 5-hit, 2-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 3 strikeouts. "Kyle is good at getting out of jams," Lookouts manager Tim Hornung told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you." Up to now McCombe has recorded a record of 3-1. In 6 starts he has fanned 20 batters in 35.1 innings with a 2.55 ERA. |
