French Brings Home TEX Batter of Month Honor Wednesday, July 1st , 2026 Ryan French is in the final year of his contract with Midland and today added a timely piece of hardware to his trophy case. Playing in 23 games in June the 26-year-old third baseman ripped Texas League pitchers for a .374 batting average, nabbing him the Batter of the Month award. He also rang up 7 home runs, 24 RBIs and 21 runs scored. If French keeps up this pace, he'll cost someone a lot of money. This year, French is hitting at a .352 pace with 17 home runs and 56 RBIs. He has played in 68 games and scored 57 times. |
