Bond Parks 3 HR in the Seats
Wednesday, July 15th , 2026
The "hardest feat in sports" debate is a never-ending one with no correct answer, but hitting three home runs is certainly in the conversation. That's exactly what Andrew Bond did at Busch Stadium, going deep three times and carrying his team to victory, 8-6.
"It all came together. I was seeing the ball well and I got some good pitches to hit," Bond said. "Good things happen, when that happens."
The Arkansas Travelers center fielder blistered the Springfield Cardinals for 3 hits, batted in 4 runs and scored 3 times.
"It ain't like we weren't trying," Springfield manager Chris Stanfield said. "He was hot and really torched my boys today."
Andrew Bond hit a solo-shot off Fernando Martinez in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Fernando Martinez in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Fernando Martinez in the 5th, grounded out in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
To date this year, Bond is batting .330 with 10 home runs.
