Hayes Clips Travelers for Cycle Monday, June 22nd , 2026 At Drillers Grove, Heath Hayes led Tulsa to a win, 11-9, over the Arkansas Travelers by hitting for the cycle, one of baseball's more difficult feats. "Usually the triple is the hardest one to get, but I was most worried about the homer today because the ball wasn't carrying," Hayes said later. "When I took it deep, I was expecting the ball to die on the warning track, so it was sweet seeing the ump give me the signal to circle the bases." In addition to going 4-for-6, Hayes chalked up 4 runs batted in and scored 3 runs in an exceptional performance. Heath Hayes struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Franklin Flores in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and hit an RBI triple in the 8th. For the season, Hayes has hit .402 with 5 home runs and 21 RBIs. He has played in 23 games and scored 24 times. |
