Minnesota (FCL) Defeats St. Louis (FCL) Friday, August 29th , 2025 The Minnesota (FCL) Twins ignited a huge celebration as they beat the St. Louis (FCL) Cardinals 4-0 to win the Round 2. Minnesota (FCL) won the series 4-0, capturing the title for the 1st time. "We stepped it up at the right time, and now we're the champs," said Minnesota (FCL) manager Nick Silver. "It's a great feeling." The champs finished the regular season 35-21 and claimed second place in the Florida Complex League South. In the jubilant clubhouse after the decisive game, series MVP and left fielder Mike Burlew said the Twins have "great fans and they deserve this." "I am so happy for our city right now," he said. |
