Frerich Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Tuesday, August 5th , 2025 Pete Frerich of the Pittsburgh (FCL) Pirates Gold helped his club in a big way, hitting for the cycle in their 8-6 win against the Houston (FCL) Astros. The 4 hits, 2 runs batted in and 2 runs scored for Frerich led the way for the Pirates Gold. "It was just a perfect day at the ballpark," Frerich said later. Pete Frerich doubled in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Seth Severtson in the 6th and walked in the 7th. In 21 games this season, Frerich has batted at a .299 pace with 23 hits and 2 home runs. |
