5-Hit Barrage by Dykes Sunday, August 3rd , 2025 5 times is the charm -- at least for Billy Dykes. The Miami (FCL) Marlins shortstop tore up the Philadelphia (FCL) Phillies to the tune of 5 hits in 6 at-bats at Citizens Bank Park. The offensive onslaught from Dykes powered the 9-5 Marlins win. "Dykes was a tough out," Philadelphia (FCL) manager Tim Rich said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Billy Dykes singled in the 1st, struck out in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and hit a three-run home run off Gary D'Addio in the 10th. So far this season, Dykes has gotten 22 hits in 62 at-bats for a .355 batting average with 5 home runs. His stats include 13 RBIs and 11 runs scored. He has played in 19 games. |
