Great Day for Lopez -- 5 Hits Tuesday, July 15th , 2025 The Blue Jays whipped the Braves, 13-11, at Truist Park and Alex Lopez had a big hand in the win. The Blue Jays shortstop came to the plate 6 times and collected 5 hits. It was a good day for Lopez and a tough day for Atlanta (FCL). "I just go up there and whale away and hope it hits the barrel of the bat," he said. "There really isn't any plan." Plan or not, Lopez delivered -- 5-for-6 is outstanding in any league. Alex Lopez hit a two-run home run off Zach Del Vecchio in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. This season, Lopez has hit at a .455 clip and produced 6 runs batted in, 2 home runs and 5 runs. |
