Mashburn Goes 5-for-6 Against Miami (FCL) Tuesday, June 17th , 2025 Johnny Mashburn had an answer for everything the Miami (FCL) Marlins threw at him at LoanDepot Park. The Atlanta (FCL) third baseman went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Braves a win, 15-11. Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Mashburn said, "I just see the ball and I hit it." Johnny Mashburn singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Mark Thorpe in the 6th, doubled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. In the 2025 season Mashburn is hitting .556 with 2 home runs. |
