Butler Goes 5-for-5 Against Colorado(ACL) Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but San Diego(ACL)'s Joey Butler made it happen against the Rockies. Everything came together at the plate for the 24-year-old right fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and helped the Padres triumph, 8-6, at PETCO Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Butler said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Joey Butler singled in the 1st, hit a two-run double in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Bryan Dillard in the 4th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 8th. This year, Butler is hitting .571 with 4 home runs and 10 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .667 clip and scored 12 runs. |
