ACL Secures Top Spot in Arizona Complex League East Wednesday, August 13th , 2025 The ACL Athletics didn't win the Arizona Complex League East by a wide margin, but the team still has an air of poise and confidence. "We think we've clearly shown we're the best team in the division and now we want to show we're the best team in the whole league," said right fielder Curt Sullivan. "Everyone in this clubhouse believes in what we can do when we play our best baseball." It remains to be seen if we will see the best of Athletics baseball in the postseason, but for now the team can enjoy the franchise's 1st division crown. Manager Ben Chaney said although his team was celebrating the division title late into the night, he wouldn't be partaking in the festivities. "I'll still be up early getting us ready to win, division championship or not," he said. "It's off to bed for me." |
