Hits Galore: Howerton Drills 5 Hits Monday, August 11th , 2025 David Howerton was the King of Swing at Sutter Health Park in the 19-3 ACL Athletics win over the Cincinnati(ACL) Reds. The ACL shortstop stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Cincinnati(ACL) and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." David Howerton doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Danny Wenker in the 6th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. This season, Howerton is batting .299 with 5 home runs. |
