Injury Sidelines Staggs for Season Monday, August 11th , 2025 "Not what I wanted to hear," said Milwaukee(ACL)'s Bill Staggs to reporters this afternoon, as he revealed that the injury he sustained on 08/09/2025 would force him to miss the rest of the season. "The doctor made it clear," Staggs said. "There's no chance for me -- none at all -- to come back this year. That's the last thing I wanted to hear." Staggs has been out of action since he suffered a torn rotator cuff. Taking a look at his season, Staggs has made 9 relief appearances, recorded no saves and compiled a 0-1 won-lost mark and a 4.63 ERA. In pitching 11.2 innings, he has totaled 15 strikeouts and 3 walks. |
