Scott Sizzles with 20-Game Batting Streak Monday, August 4th , 2025 The streak is alive and well -- at least for today. Rich Scott did it again, bashing 4 hits in the contest at Royals Blue Grounds. For the last 20 games in a row, the 21-year-old center fielder has collected at least one hit. His efforts helped the Kansas City(ACL) Royals Blue beat the San Diego(ACL) Padres, 9-8. "I'm happy I kept the streak going," Scott told a standing-room-only crowd of reporters gathered in the Kansas City(ACL) clubhouse. "Honestly though, I'm looking forward to going home and not thinking about this for the rest of the day." Rich Scott singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season, Scott has posted a batting average of .438 with 74 hits in 169 at-bats, 7 home runs and 35 RBIs. He has also scored 48 runs, walked 21 times and compiled a .503 OBP. |
