5 Hits for Brewers Gold Sheler Saturday, August 2nd , 2025 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Jeremy Sheler -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Rate Field and paced the 20-3 Brewers Gold win over the Chicago A(ACL) White Sox. After his dynamite batting performance, the Milwaukee(ACL) center fielder told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Jeremy Sheler singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Ryan Rienzi in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, flied out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Looking at his stats this year, Sheler has compiled a .473 batting average, while hitting 4 home runs and driving in 13 runs. He has played in 17 games and scored 18 runs. |
