Texas(ACL)'s Valdez Winner, ACL Best Hitter in July Friday, August 1st , 2025 For a rookie just breaking in, Ismael Valdez certainly put together a successful month. It was good enough to win the ACL Batter of the Month award for July. The 20-year-old center fielder for the Texas(ACL) Rangers hit .438 with 11 home runs, 31 RBIs and 16 runs scored. So far this season, Valdez has gotten 66 hits in 174 at-bats for a .379 batting average with 17 home runs. His stats include 48 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has played in 40 games. |
