Los Angeles N(ACL)'s Diaz Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits
Sunday, July 27th , 2025
It was a sensational day at the plate for Alex Diaz as he led the charge to a nifty 14-8 win over the Rangers. The Los Angeles N(ACL) first baseman was pure misery for the Texas(ACL) pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 6 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"Diaz put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Victor Mondragon, manager for the Rangers, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Alex Diaz hit a two-run home run off Jeremy Edwards in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, struck out in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Armando Duque in the 9th.
In the 2025 season Diaz is hitting .390 with 9 home runs.
