Cleveland(ACL) Stops Sullivan Hit Streak Friday, July 25th , 2025 ACL Athletics right fielder Curt Sullivan finally met his Waterloo. A 22-game hitting spree is now history after Sullivan was unable to make anything happen in 4 at-bats today against the Cleveland(ACL) Guardians. Fortunately for Sullivan and the Athletics, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 9-4. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 22 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." To date Sullivan has chalked up a .411 average with 11 home runs, driven in 42 runs and scored 34 times. |
