Torres Cracks 5 Hits Sunday, June 15th , 2025 5 times is the charm -- at least for Miguel Torres. The Cincinnati(ACL) Reds first baseman tore up the ACL Athletics to the tune of 5 hits in 5 at-bats at Great American Ball Park. The offensive onslaught from Torres powered the 11-8 Reds win. "Torres was a tough out," ACL manager Ben Chaney said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Miguel Torres singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, walked in the 6th and singled in the 8th. |
