Rodriguez Tosses No-Hitter Against Fredericksburg Sunday, May 25th , 2025 Columbia Fireflies starter Danny Rodriguez was unhittable at Nationals Park. Rodriguez beat the Fredericksburg Nationals, 7-0, breezing through the Nationals lineup en route to a no-hitter. "I thought Danny started off a little slow and was struggling with his command at first," Fireflies manager Aaron Moser said later. "He lucked his way through the early innings, and they helped him out by not being patient. Eventually, it all came together for him, and from there on the Nationals never had a chance. He dominated them." Rodriguez struck out 10 batters and issued 2 walks in the performance. In 9 starts this season, Rodriguez has registered a 2-2 record and a 4.56 ERA. |
