Season Over for Guardado Sunday, May 31st , 2026 Mario Guardado has to call it a season. The Down East Wood Ducks starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 05/30/2026 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 14-15 months. The team will likely place Guardado on the injured list today. |
